Some people have also requested a wiring diagram, and i found one, but only one. for a 98 carisma GDI. I hope everything else that doesn't concern the engine will help the other people as well.

I Googled Mitsubishi Carisma Engine Manual PDF and found this site: http://pdftown.com/PDF-Mitsubishi-Engine-4...ies-Manual.html

As of writing the normal link does not work but the mirror does. I have a local copy if that too goes down.

Here's a video tutorial on the common idle problems with the GDI engine: http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t48773-so...le-problems.htm

Sorry about the serious delay. Hope this is of some use.

The manuals I am uploading cover Mitsubishis from (I am not too sure) 1996 to approx. 2002.
There is some info. on FQ9 and FQ8 (Diesel) Engines too.
Total download = 194Mb

Go to the link for the file and press 'request download ticket' near the bottom of the screen.
Then on next screen press 'download' (near bottom of screen again)

http://ifile.it/p1xi5lq/Carisma%20Manual.part1.rar
http://ifile.it/4catz1r/Carisma%20Manual.part2.rar
http://ifile.it/7pm3jn5/Carisma%20Manual.part3
http://ifile.it/6gt2xaq/Carisma%20Manual.part4.rar
http://ifile.it/3dto0nl/Carisma%20Manual.part5.rar

Five files above belong to the same archive. Download to a folder and extract ......part1.rar
There is no need to extract the other four as they will be automaticaly picked up by the extracting process.

When extracted, find a file called cover.pdf. Opening this gives you access to the manual via the three hyperlinks close
to the top at the right hand side, namely:
Workshop Manual Group Index
Supplement List
Service Bulletin List

It is not very convenient to navigate back and forth from a chosen subject to 'cover.pdf' (or whatever jump off point), as there is no 'back button' in Adobe reader. The best thing to do is go up to window (just before going to another .pdf from a hyperlink) and open a new window for to be able to get back to where you were (if ya know what I mean).
You can also look at each .pdf file in the manual seperately though the names of the files are not descriptive, just numbers.
Don't change the names of the .pdf's if you want 'cover.pdf' (or other 'jump off' .pdf to work correctly).

Happy reading.
JC
