I have a new 2006 mitsubishi raider. when i am driving on highway the truck will not go over 100mph. It feels like its going to stall when it hits 100mph. Does anyone else have this problem? Does my raider have speed restrictor on it. How do i get rid of it? I would like to be able to go over 100mph in my truck. If i would have know that i would not have bought the truck.

My 06 does the same thing and its a speed limit built into the ECU. You will need an aftermarket programer to unlock the Raiders inner demon!

I have not had this problem in my 08 Raider DBL Cab LS. I've hit 110mph in it so far and since then ive put a Custom Short Ram Intake (home-made) and a cab back flowmaster 50 series dual exhuast on it.

I have a 06 V8 extended cab and mine hits the rev limtiter at 115 . I live in Chicago . Does it vary state by state what the govener is set at? By the way running this truck at 115 felt very unsafe , it did not handle well at that speed. I have not done it since. The fastest my navigation system has recorded since then is only 96.
