I just recently got into a car accident (yesterday), and the person rear ended me into another person's car. I think the car hit me doing 15-20, not that fast, but still enough to send my car into the person's car in front of me. I rear ended the person in front of me, but there was little/ no damage to that person's car, and there's very little damage to the back of my car; however, my front bumpers dented about 3-4 inches in and the hood can't open, (i'm guessing as a result from the damage on the front bumper). The problem is my airbag deployed and I want to know how much it would cost to replace it, and if it would be worth it.

I was driving a 96 Eclipse GS-T. I saw a forum where they said someone had a pair of used airbags for 20 dollars but this doesn't seem realistic, another person said 70 dollars and that still seems a bit unrealistic. But I'm trying to avoid paying hundreds of dollars to get the airbags replaced. I haven't yet received the police report, but the police officer said that I wasn't getting a ticket.

Anyways does anyone have a suggestion about getting cheaper air bags than from the dealer? Because I'm guessing that buying it from a dealer would be rather expensive.

So any help?

well the person who rear ended you should pay for the damages through their insurance cause if you file it to your insurance your insurance is gonna go up for the next like 3 or 5 years
