i have a 95 diamante dohc..and my trans blew...and i purchesd a trans from a junkyuard and they told me that the trans is out of a sohc motor...and they sayd it wouldnt work...the trans look identical..so i got it...at first i didn no the my motor was a dohc cuz i had lost the keys and could pop the hood the see if it was single twin.. i thoug that it woulnt matter....please help ppl...thanks alot

The trany should work the same. I think that the driveshafts are a different size. I did a swap from a 92 to 93 and was going to use one of the driveshafts. Other than that the swap should be fine.

The driveshafts are a diffrent length slightlly depending if it has ABS and non ABS, with the intermediate shaft to the block section. But all he needs to do is use his original shafts, plain and simple.

ahh makes sence mine were a different diameter. i didnt explain myself very well. and your right if they are the same trany # everything should work correctly.
