When I accelerate in 4th over 40 the ecu light comes on and I lose all power.
After pulling over and switching the engine off the car starts with no problem . This has happend twice in the last two days. I must add I was accelerating to over take so I was accelerating harder than normal.

Ps cannot be the throttle body as I replaced this last year.

high presure fuel pump u can get on e-bay it's same to carisma (GDI engine)

Did you get this problem sorted?
Do you lose all power or if you pull in is the engine shuddering but still ticking over?

same problem here! loose all power and light engine check came on !
but if i keep accelerating to the floor...it works ...annoing . Do u know what is this?
