Hi,
I am going to replace the engine in my 1986 Montero, I have never pulled out an engine before, but it seems like the oil pan is very close to the front axle 2" do I need to move the transmission back to get the engine out? Does any body know? Or there is a trick to get the engine out?

Thanks
