Drives: 93 mitsubishi eclipse gs,90 gsx,95 tsi?



i just replaced my starter about a week ago,has worked fine up till this morn. now it wont turn over good battery everything powers upbut when i turn the key nothing, what else could it be

make sure one of the connections hasn't vibrated loose. same for the battery terminals

all connections are good, it has been fine for a week but today i went to the store then came out and it wouldnt turn over i can here a click in the ignition when i try to start it but nothing happens

it's possible that you got a bad replacement starter. it doesn't happen often but can happen.

Before you yank it back out to return, re-clean all your grounds

ceaned all connections checked the starter relay, i think its just a bad starter, when i replaced the old one it fired right up for a week then just died takin back starter for new one this evening

Yes it was a bad replacement took it back and installed new one no problems since

Could you tell me where the starter is located? Is it easy to be removed from the engine?

Its under the intake manifold mounted to the transmission two bolts and a ground not to complicateed to remove. Take battery out should give you enough room. It is a tight squeeze I also removed the intake pipe.

is ur car a manual? CUz i know sometimes mine doesn't switch on untill the sensor is closed, and it's a little finiky sometimes
