I have over 222 222 Kms on my Outlander and I'm wondering about the life expectancy of a Mitsubishi alternator. My GM alternators never made it pass 125 000 kms.

That's only 165 000 Kms. Has anyone had alternator failure and do they remember at what odometer reading?

dont base mitsus reliability on GMs. GM has and does make garbage.

i have 230,000 MILES on my original everything on my diamante.

the only mitsu alts i ever change are on monteros
and then the only reason is because people ignore the valve cover or front cam seals leaking oil onto the alternator...

other than that i dont remember the last time i changed a mitsu alt

mine has 16,500 miles so far on my 07 outlander

and the kia one has 108 on it
and the one in my chevy truck has 180,000 on it as far as i know
