I bought the 2007 LS AWD Endeavor last year because there was the "end of the year rebate". However there was an interesting fact which I couldn't understand why. All of the AWD base model Endeavors from 2004 through 2009 weight in at around 4050 lbs, with the exception of the 2007 model which weights in at 4160 lbs, which is over 150 lbs heavier. I confirm this with the manufacturer prochures from different years, as well as on the internet. Anyone knows what makes the 2007 AWD Endeavor base model 160 lbs heavier than the same model of other years?

Ho ho ho ... that's funny smarty pants! I was hoping someone out there with a curious mind or an insider's knowledge would know the answer to this unimportant yet mysterious fact. Could it be that the 2007 models carry extra weights in its frame, or an added equipment that other years' models don't carry? Perhaps no one will ever know !

theres no difference at all on any of them, so its more likely a typo. The only differences between any endeavor is basically 2WD or 4WD.
