Its not really performance, but my fans have been making so weird noises. I live in Chicago and its pretty cold so I'm hoping thats the only reason it does it. Oh I should probably add that it only does it when I first start it for the day and goes away after it warms up so maybe that is it. I'm just looking to see if anyone else has this problem or if it is something I should worry about? Any help you guys give will be appreciated.

I guess it depends on they type of noise they're making. I haven't noticed anything like that on mine though, and it gets really cold here too. -30C and still no noise... not from the fans anyway.

Seriously though, the only odd noise that comes from my engine bay is the compressor kicking in every few seconds while stopped. The fans will spin a little harder first thing in the morning because the car has been cold for an extended period of time. Once it warms up and the idle drops, the car and fans should be noticeably quieter. It also helps to keep the heat off while warming up your car.

At the time I joined this forum I lived in Memphis, but moved here cuz I'm in the Navy. Ever since I've been here and the temp has dropped its been doing it. It just annoys me when it does do it

yeahh my fan makes a little noise when I first start it up with the heat on or ac. But I think its due to someone bumping my front bumper when I was parked in a parking lot. And I guess the person pulled into to close to my car and kinda of displaced my bumper. I mean it's not noticeable or anything, only under the right-side headlight you see a little gap. So maybe you might want to check out your bumper to see if there's a little misplacement or something because I know these bumpers are so freekin cheap, the slightest bump and their screwed up!
