Got a dyno done on my car yesterday. Stock baseline runs, 2.4L, manual transmission.

motor hp from mitsubishi: 168
motor torque from mitsubishi: 167
-------------------------------------------------------
(3) 4th gear runs

max wheel hp: 157.82
max wheel torque: 163.52

4th gear MPH at 6300 rpm = 115 mph

air/fuel ratio: 2.4L runs rich

Only a 7% loss of horsepower from engine to wheels (very good)

I was impressed as well. So were the guys in the shop. They asked me if tune software was out for this car, but I wasn't sure.

It was a DynoJet dyno. (4 wheel drive capable, and it was a lift version)

Nice! Very very nice!
I wish I would have waited for the 2009 GTS and gotten the 2.4L engine with it. I don't know what it's gonna take to get my '08 to this level. But it seems like it will take alot. You throw some bolt-ons on there and you'll probably end up around 165hp or even close to 170. I'm interested to see what the intake and exhaust will do for this engine.
Good stuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You got me motivated to update my 2008 dyno post too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Ya got me motivated to get my exhaust and intake installed. I'll do another dyno and see what I get from those. I'm hoping for 10 out of those two, that would be great......stay tuned.....

Well fortunately for me in Costa Rica the 09 GTS has the same 2.0L engine so no worries.
And few people are into mods anyway, even a neighbor I have about my age has the same car but no knowledge abouts mods and he doesnt even want to run against me to see how much improvement I´ve got cause of the mods.
Its a bummer but its a plus as well.

I have to do mine some day, we'll see how close they are (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That might be a while though... cash it tight!
