Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, but are there any cars that you frequently see on the road that cause hate and discontent, or you just don't like them?

Here's a few I hate.

Hummer H2: They are ridiculous and cumbersome, and drivers think they have a power over smaller vehicles
Lexus RX300: They not only look really stupid, but they're a poor-man's Mercedes, and people like to drive them EXTREMELY slow, and put asininely large rims on them.
Cadillac Escalade: The people who drive these tend to drive fast and don't really get in the way, but when you're in THEIR way, they just won't stop riding your ass... They don't like to find away around you, rather a way THROUGH you. Also, with their ridiculously bright HID lights on the newer models, they shine right into the back window of a small coupe/hatchback and blind the fuck out of you.
Generic trucks that are "Texas Edition" or "Longhorn Edition" or "Super Duty": They're just completely uncalled for... With the fact that they suck up gas faster than mostly every automobile in existence, they also take up the most space, are loud, slow, and get in the way all the time. The drivers never actually use them for what they're supposed to be used for, they just buy the biggest truck they can "just because" or they want to feel bigger than everyone else. They have at least 6 wheels in most cases. Also some have those really gay looking side mirrors that are like 2 feet long.

I don't really hate any passenger cars, they're all pretty much the same. I just hate trucks and SUV's mostly because they cause traffic issues and they're unsafe and have no benefits unless you're a soccer mom or have a huge family, or you take road trips or do heavy duty work.

I dont consider Lexus's the poor mans mercedez as id much rather have a lexus than a fugly ass mercedez anything. As for trucks, maybe its different down here where i live but dualies " trucks with 6 wheels" are used for towing trailers and hauling boats etc. The really long mirrors that stick out 2 ft are so they can see little cars like us when we were behind them and they are pulling trailers.

Cars that i cant really stand are the ones that don't serve a purpose. Example the chevy hell i dont even know what its called its the truck that is small like a car and only holds 2 people? i dunno i cant stand that car truck or whatever the hell you wanna call the modern day el camino

its not so much the car as it is the driver. i kind of dislike the bugs the new civic sedans are ugly as hell too...so is the yaris prius fit etc

V6 mustangs - posers car (look guyz, i have teh muscle car!!!) and you see them everywhere.

Modified hondas - i dont mind them stock, i admit they are good economy cars. putting a fart can and rims on yer civic, however, does not make it a race car. you see these everywhere too.

PT Cruisers - fugly

Suburbans, Escalades, Hummer H2s/H3s, etc - too big and wasteful. they dont go off road that well, either. pointless, IMHO, other than to pad yer social status.

Malibu - boring as hell

i know thats not all. ill add to this list as i think about it.

LMAO! Stabbed in the ass!? lol

Anyway I kind of like FJ cruisers, just because they look exotic.

Toyota Prius's are so fucking retarded... Jesus Christ...

Anyway, I'm pretty much against SUV's in general, they make no sense in my opinion. If I had to own one, I'd own a classic old school Land Rover.

pretty much most Japanese cars are boring to drive. Toyota is like the Japanese Version of GM. I hate the Honda boys who think their Civic a F1 car and with out the skills to back it up.

Well at lest Benz has fun cars but way too much $$$ and they make such lovely noise (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) the CLK63 AMG black edition is my car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes to be honest driving the Eclipse does get extremely boring when I'm not on the highway, because the highway is the only place where I can actually let the car stretch out a bit...

But being an automatic, and being slow... It kind of stinks.

I'm actually really interested in a Nissan Maxima 5-speed now, preferably like a 2001+. I want a 6-cylinder so it'll actually haul someone my size, and because bolt-on modifications will produce a difference you can feel.

I used to dis on them until I realized how good they are, especially for a non-turbo.

If I have to get an American car, it would most likely be a Chevrolet of some sort, anything with 6 cylinders.

My dad drives a Saturn. While it is a nice car, and pretty decently powerful for its size, it is pretty much completely made of plastic and it's really flimsy. Then the mechanical parts break when you try to fix them.

My brother drove an old saturn for a while. It wasnt fast or flashy, but it was a very nice little car. I have a lot of respect for the old plastic saturns. they were decent little cars, and they do what they were built to do very well.

For the price, maybe they work as they are suppose to... other than that, they are garbage cars made with no creativity., just like korean cars.

Add to the list

All Hyundai's and including the GENESIS.

Reason is, its a fake GTR...just for sales, no passion whatsoever.

At least where I live most people who buy trucks like super dutys etc make good use of them, for traveling to remote rig locations and/or carrying loads, trailers, etc.

The cars I truly despise are anything with a Kia or Hyundai badge. Got up close with a Genisis and was disappointed.
While I like some hummers the plastic hummers almost make me want to puke. Want a hummer go buy one from a used army source.

An SUV makes a fuckton amount of sense. I have a Nissan Armada, in which the mirrors were swapped out with the mirrors that can extend out for towing from the Nissan Titan. The purpose, well - I needed to be able to pull a 20' enclosed car hauler or boat trailer. To do so, I needed the large frame, wheelbase, torque, and reliability. The Armada had that as a SUV, so did the H2, as do the larger pickup trucks. I have no use for a pickup truck, so an SUV was the decision.

Not that I've gotten used to the additional space for luggage, travel, my wife and I could never live without a SUV. Although - once the promo Eclipse is gone and I no longer need to haul the damn car around, at that point I will strictly advertise using alternate means. That's when I have some restructuring to do. Most likely, my Armada will be moved out and replaced with a Nissan Morano, which goes to the wife, and I will take her 2008 Altima and replace with either 2009 or 2010 335 4dr BMW 335 for myself.

Fact of the matter is - a SUV is very useful to a lot of people, and you don't have to be a "soccer mom" to have legitimate justification to own one. A mid-size SUV is one of the more practical "get the most out of your vehicle" purchases you can make.

I wasnt talking about all SUVs, i was talking about the big showy ones. No ones buys an escalade to tow a trailer or go off-roading, because they suck at it. they dont need to be that big and inefficient, but they are. i see the uses of smaller, more economical SUVs, especially the ones that can be used to tow stuff ot go off road.

i like the 1g durangos, my dad owns one and and i got to drive it, they get decent mpg's, pretty fast, and can tow fairly well, i have to agree with sc, they are"more practical get the most out of your vehicle purchases you can make. "
