GOOD MORNING ADVICE NEEDED

I HAVE A L200 2004 04 REG WARRIOR AND THE BOTTOM END HAS GONE. I AM LOOKING AROUND FOR A SECOND HAND ENGINE AND SEE THE PAJERO/SHOGUN HAS THE 4D56 ENGINE. MY QUESTION IS WILL THIS FIT STRAIGHT INTO THE WARRIOR AS I AM TOLD THE FUEL PUMPS MAYBE DIFFERENT AND WILL EFFECT THE ECU ETC ETC.

SO WILL A 4D56 2.5 TD FROM A PAJERO/SHOGUN FIT A L200 WARRIOR 2.5 2004 REG

ALSO 1 MORE THING ANY1 KNOW IF A 2.8 FROM THESE CARS WOULD FIT 4M40

CHEERS

as far as i know theres no diff, so long as the injector pumps look the same numers match etc should have no issues, plus if you doing the engine swap you would keep the pajeros pump on the motor and it wont matter, as for computer etc if the 4d56 is still the same in 04 as it is in my 96 it wont matter coz the pump is mechanical, basically if everything looks the same it will work, as for the 4m40 i wouldn't bother they use different gearbox would be a major transfer job if you where gunna do that might aswell get a decent engine ! i love my mitsu but i wouldnt say they make the greatest engines! hope this helps
