Hi guys, was just wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone who's fitted power steering to a 1986 L200. Is there much involved in fitting it, and can i use a power-steer setup from any mitsi vehicle or do i have to get an l200 one.

next thing on the agenda, there is a lot of play in the steering box, on inspection it's as if the gears are getting worn down, but i was told that the boxes can be adjusted. Does anyone know how to do this?

Not sure on the PS component of your question but the play on the manual steering box is adjusted by the central bolt on the top of the box.
