Member Group: Members Posts: 26 Joined: 29-July 08 Member No.: 61,889 Status: Location: USA, Florida Drives: 1999 Mitsubishi Diamante LS	While i was looing into the actuator motor click I disconnected the passenger airbag and turned the car on with that connector disconnected. I read on another post that it can only be reset by a machine. Is this true? I have a 99 diamante and everything is hooked back up. Thanks.

Veteran Group: Members Posts: 1,853 Joined: 21-May 08 Member No.: 58,134 Status: Location: Chiang Mai , Chiang Mai ,TH Drives: 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante VR-S SUPER INVECS II , 1990 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 MR, 2006 Mitsubishi Triton PLUS 3.5 DOCH , 2001 Mitsubishi Galant GSR	Sometimes it will reset itself after a few key cycles.But one way people will say is to disconnect the car battery for about 5 minutes. Also this will prompt yu to have the radio code cause it will lock out and yu will have to put in the radio code for it to be functionable again.

BUt yu can attempt that.

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 30-March 06 Member No.: 22,768 Status: Location: USA Drives: 93 mitsubisia d	I can tell you that in my 92 the only way to reset the SRS is with a machine, and only the dealer had one, cost me $65 to have it done. And the crappy thing is for me it was due to a bad battery, slow drain to dead when I first got the car, can you belive that there are 2 SRS codes for battery issues??? on the 1G D?
