Hi. As some of you recall I screwed up my instrument cluster. Through sheer good luck, I managed to find one at a junkyard. I bought it, swapped it out, and all is good. Everything works. Or seems to.

The new cluster came out of an automatic. Please tell me what differences there are between the two clusters? I know there is at least a visual difference, the new cluster has two thin slots for indicators that my original manual cluster does not have. Am I going to be missing any important indicators for my manual?

It came out of a '92 or up, I think. I couldn't tell you the exact year. Mine is a '91.

P.S.: I also snagged the console assembly out of a '92 and popped it in my '91. So now I've got the full lid and the cupholders and such. This makes me VERY happy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Then it's out of a '90/'91. The speedo on the new cluster is exactly the same as the speedo on the old cluster.

Any idea what the differences are between the auto and manual clusters?
