Does anyone have experience with putting a cold-air intake system into a 2006 (or any year) Durocross Raider, V6? I've heard better gas mileage, increase of up to 10hp. I'm finding them for around $300. Let me know if it's a waste of money. I have a K&N Air filter on now and a 3" Gibson exhaust system which opened up the airflow some to give more torque. The one thing the V6 raider is missing is horsepower. They made the 2006 with 210hp, even my wifes trailblazer has 245. Don't know what they were thinking there.

Thanks

I put a K&N air intake on my V8 raider and noticed a difference . I also put a Magnaflow exhaust system on it a month prior too the air intake and noticed a huge differnece in engine induction noise. Also a slight hp and fuel economy gain. But the air intake was the more noticeable performance gain, particauilarly ( spelling ) in the mid rev range.
