Trouble Code 56, Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero IO

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 4 Joined: 7-April 09 Member No.: 69,649 Status: Location: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Drives: Mitsubishi Pajero IO GDI	I got my vehicle scanned today after some engine noise and several diagnosis which do not seem to work. The Mechanic said the code which came up is Trouble Code 56. He has a universal scanner hence he cannot lock into to determine what it means. I have Montero/Pajero IO, GDI, Year 2000. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
