I'm just wondering what would be the best way to wire up a pair of spotlights on a 94 L300 Express. I want to have them so that they come on with high beams, but can be switched off independently.

I was thinking something like this. But not sure if it's the best, and easiest way to go about it.

Any help is greatly appreciated. And Thank You all in advance.

I think I see what you're doing there, but I wanna make sure.

You want the spots to come on with the HIs. So, your plan is to wire them in with the HIs. Are you gonna put a switch in so that you can hit your HIs and not have the spots come on?

If so, do spots -> inline fuse -> spot control switch -> HI switch. I don't have Circuit Maker or such, or I would draw it out. Too lazy for paint. XD

Yeah that's what I want to do, but I want to feed them off the battery, not from the head light harness, as they are both 100w each, and I doubt the headlight harness can take the extra strain.

Ok, so run battery -> spots w/ BIG fuse -> switch -> HIs...I guess thats how you'd have to do it. Easiest would really be to run them to an independent switch on your dash...
