i was wondering if someone could help me out a bit please

i have a czc2 (owned from new, coming up to a year old, had its first service and done 10k miles) and it has started doing something weird

when i brake, its fine

but when i accelerate slowly from braking (like in macdonalds drive thru), up to about 10mph, i get a squeak squeak at the speed of rotation of the wheel. it sounds like its coming from the front right hand side wheel.

simple enough. but here's some of the more unusual aspects:

i have had it up on axle stands before and spun the offending wheel. since new, it has been slightly contacting the brake pads at a certain point on the disc, methinks a warped disc, but the noise in question has only just started happening!!

its actually since its first service that it started happening (service done at a mitsu garage) but that is probably a coincidence as i dont think the brakes are items on the service checklist for year 1.

i'm hoping that its nothing more serious like a wheel bearing or bush or something but it does go away after you speed up and worst of all (which is why i cant get mitsu to diagnose it) it's a bl**dy intermittent fault - it doesnt happen all teh time. seems to be random when it does happen - dry or wet, hot or cold, etc etc.

anyone got any ideas?

the squeek is not ear splitting but you can hear it over the normally aspirated diesel vw golf next to you at the lights if you've got your window down (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laughing.gif) which is bad enough for me to be complaining!

can any member help with this one

could be a warped disc or a sticking caliper but the car is only low kms

one way is to remove the pads and file the sharp edges off the pads
