It also doesn't really seem to say that it's a 4-2-1, and they have the same picture for all of their headers.
Do call...

Not to mention that the header that is pictured mounts the wrong way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hopefully it's real, I would really like another header option for our car rather than just RRM's header.

On another forum it said dc headers were expected in august (someone spoke with dc). It's a 4-2-1 design, fed cars, 2.0L version only (at first).

here's pics posted in the other forum:

Yes the pictures posted there are just a generic image that DC-Sports / DME supplies to merchants offering their products for sale.

I have a few contacts and I am going to check and see if this product is available!

If it is not available yet then will it be available and how soon!

If I had a good number to give him of actual people that will buy it I am sure he will work harder on gaining this info.

I may be able to work out a deal on pricing too with enough honest and genuine people looking to acquire this.

I have tried it before and then it fell through when most of the people that wanted an item did not go through with it so the rest of us lost out on a great deal!

Give me an idea of how many people are serious and genuine in looking into it and I will see what I can do!!

I have an update on the DC headers. I spoke with DC Sports and it looks like the headers for the lancer will not be out until spring / summer of 2010.

The rumors of a 4-2-1 design are false, it will be a 4-1 design. The tech said there is not enough room for a 4-2-1, so I doubt anyone will come out with a 4-2-1. The link in this thread that claims they have DC sports 08 lancer headers is suspect because they aren't out yet and the pics I found and posted are not pics for a lancer.

The tech also said that the headers will probably only be for the 2.4L engine since the 09+ gts is a 2.4L. He said they probably wouldn't make a 2.0l version because they don't think many DE and ES owners will be buying headers. Looks like they might only be targeting the gts 2.4 owners, but that could change by next year.

I'm not going to buy headers until next spring anyway, so I'll wait and see what they come up with and keep you posted.
