The car is a 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer GLX running the 4g15 bottom and the 4g13 head. The acceleration on the car is beyond horrible. The car won't even drive with the aircon on unless its floored. I'm at witts end with it honestly but what can i do to improve the acceleration?

Since the car got the 4g15 bottom half (it was running the full EFI 4G13 head before) it was never remapped to suit the engine change. Could that be a problem?

Please help guys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

I'm no expert, but I'd say that is definitely your problem. I would try and get the ECU remapped ASAP. That'd help I'd think.
