If I'm driving and use my power windows the headlights will dim to about 50% (abnormally) along with the interior lights. As soon as I release the power button switch it goes back to normal brightness. The same is true if I hit the brake pedal; my lights (headlights and interior lighting) will dim but return to normal upon releasing the brake pedal.

I've also noticed in some cases my MP3 player which is powered by my cigarette lighter connector will turn off when I press on the brake pedal and come back on after I release.

Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds like the alternator to me. You definitely should check your grounds and update them to 4 gauge while you're at it.

Yeppers, first choice alternator, second choice grounds. At one time, I might also have thought voltage regulator, but I'm not sure these cars even have one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) !

Defiantly check the alternator, and battery connections.
Could be something as simple as dirty battery terminals, or loose battery cables.
