Hi,

I just bought Outie 09 and I wonder if can someone explain me in plain how can I setup the keyless entry system that if I pres the lock button on the key I will hear a Horn as a locked position.

I know there is a section in the owners manual that explains that but I cannot understand what to do. Its not described as good to understand what to do. If anyone has any experience of programming the
keyless entry signals please reply.

Also I would like to ask you it its possible to switch on the feauture for auto locking of the door when vehicle is in movement or when shifted into drive. I had this feature on my 08 Lancer, I would love to have it on Outie too

Thanx a lot
Any help is appreciated

Most car remotes can be programmed manually at home without any tools or technical skills.

If you need to just order the remote programming instructions please check our website at

In my opinion these guys that want to charge you to give you the information to reprogram your remotes are ripoff artists. I have found several sources for my 2003 Montero Sport and they are all the same as well as the Montero manual. Before I would pay any of these guys for what is available for free I would call the dealer and ask them for the info. I am really sick and tired of people getting something for nothing on the internet.

I have posted the method for my Montero Sport. In other posts. You should not have to pay for this info. And if you buy a remote from one of these after market sites they should provide the program info for free!
