Hello guys and gals.New to the forum and new to Mitsubishi.Could someone tell me if I have an OBD1 or OBD2 car. It's a 1995 Galant S.I bought the car recently and it's CLEAN! From an older gentleman who's wife recently passed away, didn't need 2 vehicles anymore. The story you always hear about, but never happen to you.Well,it finally happened to me!! Sweet deal.Anyway, nedd to know what kind and where port is located.Bought Chilton's manual, but not much help there.I did something really stupid and sprayed engine and compartment with Super Green degreaser and hosed off with garden hose. Now it won't start!! I changed distributor cap and rotor.Spark plugs and wires thinking I had wet them.Still no luck.Could I have possibly shorted out alternator or something else?Car ran like a fine tuned watch before this.Something else I can look for?I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but I'm stumped. Thanks for any help or direction anyone can give,Nick.

Does the engine turn over? But no start?

Depending the type of spark plug wires , sum older aftermarket brands caused no spark issues when getting wet. Yu can check for spark at the distributor cap versus the end of the spark plug lead. Or ohm out each lead.
