I just bought some TB cleaner and since my car sits in the garage with a donut tire and wont be driving it for awhile I figured this would be the time to clean it.

I read the tutorial on doing so in the how to section but I noticed there are alot more things plugged into it on the gsx verison and is located on the opposite side then the 420a so we will see how it goes.

Ill take pics.

(my understanding is remove throttle body and spray the tb cleaner in and let it soak then use toothbrush to clean it all up to a shine)

also read about people spraying some into hoses and stuff but idk if thats safe?

Run some "seafoam" through the intake. You'll see a night and day difference with that as well. Toss it in through the brake booster.

the intake after the TB is not that critical to clean. Just start running Chevron fuel and that will keep it cleaner.

the reason you need to clean the throttle body is because the carbon changes the airflow when the butterfly is closed, it's a very small gap so just a little carbon changes the amount of air that gets through, thus changing the potential mixture.
