The fan speed controls will not work on my climate control unit for a 2002 Diamante LS. Everything else works as far as climate controls, i just cannot change the speed fo the fan. I just bought the car but I can see that someone else tried (horribly) to fix this. The Heater Control Transistor (looks like a heat sink the size of a fist) is out of place and I noticed that unless it contacts with another piece of metal (which it definitely never should do), the entire climate control shuts off. As it is now, the fan is always blowing at the same speed. Any ideas?
