some jerk that cant drive scratched my back door drivers side handle and since a have a wicked white ES of course it looks great with a straight black line going across the handle. dunno if i should just get a whole new door handle or have this one re-painted, or just scream til my lungs give out

i was thinking that i could just wax it off but it scratched off the clear coat on the area so wtf

I would try a buffing wheel and some rubbing compound. See just how deep it goes. If not, a body shop should be able to paint a door handle for less than $50. Check prices for paint and a new one and go from there.
