QUOTE (eclipseracer_52 @ Aug 13 2009, 06:31 PM) Does anyone know if an ECU from a 95-99 4g63T motor will work on a 95-99 4g63 NT motor? and same for the wiring harness...will a turbo wiring harness work on a non turbo motor? or does any one know where I can find a wiring harness and ECU to a JDM 95+ 4g63 NT motor. thats what I thought the NT motors in that year was the 420a. but I have one I bought it off ebay...its a JDM 4g63 95+.

QUOTE (EMC 3000gt @ Aug 15 2009, 02:33 PM) Just buy the right ecu. +1. The 1g N/A 4G63 ECU is identical to the 2g N/A 4G63 (Found in EDM spec eclipses), as is the motor.

I cant find the right ecu and wiring harness...its like that motor don't even exist. when I search for ecu for that motor it just comes up with the turbo ecu and wiring harness. QUOTE (jonbonazza @ Aug 15 2009, 01:41 PM) +1.

I have a 1g 4g63 NT ECU and wiring harness. but on the wiring harness a lot of the plugs aren't there and/or different. The missing plugs are probably just the emission components. As far as I know, Europe doesnt require all of that emissions crap, so Mitsu probably didn't add those. Then again, Mitsu is know for using the same harness for all versions of that motor, so I dunno why it would be different. I dunno... I just know the motors are identical, as are the ECUs. Can you just connect the 1g ECU to your 2g harness?

Can you just connect the 1g ECU to your 2g harness? well there is a lot of plugs that are not there on the 1g harness which is what i have. there isnt a plug for the O2 sensor or its not the same. the plugs that go to the coils are on the top of the intake manifold and on the 1g harness they go to the side of the intake manifold and there is a plug that goes to a sensor on timing belt side of the motor down by the crank...on the 1g harness there isnt a plug for it. so the harness and plugs on the 1g harness are different from those on a 2g harness. so what all plugs are needed to run motor....Its going in a race car. and does any one have an 1g ECU pin diagram.

Do you know what all sensors are needed to run the motor and where I can find a pin diagram of a 1g ECU. Cause its going in a dirt track oval race car. I just need it to run.

Then there are the luxuries, like the oil pressure sensor, coolant sensor, etc... EDIT: oh yea! and the MAF! lol
