I run an aftermarket fuel pump, injectors, and a piggyback ecu. Ya you defiantly need them if you want your 16g to perform at all.

yeah so i decided to save up for a evo3 16g turbo, instead of buying a knock off. i dont want anything cheap or bad for my 45k mile engine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) by the way what is a tuning device and where do you get one?

there are loads of different options when it comes to tuning devices... do a search.

You are right to get quality parts, its just that most of us have to do the cheaper way, you know? Greddy e-manage is a good street application. Not even the Ultimate, just the normal E-manage blue is fine. And a good price. be sure to get the support tool as well if you go with it, or you cant tune it.

They ar the same. version 1 and 2 were called DSMLink, but they redesigned it with a shitton of more features and I think it can work with more than just DSMs now, in the version 3 and renanmed it ECMLink.

I would go with ECMLink, but you cna get a used DSMLink socketed ECU for much cheaper.
