I was doing a search anywhere from "what seats fit" to "seat brackets" and "mount brackets"

As I said in my description, the seats in my 1996 RS have no lumbar support and kill my back. I would like to know if anyone has done a seat swap on their 2g Eclipse. And, I don't have access to any welding devices so it pretty much has to be bolt-on if possible. I liked the seats in my Lancer, and there's no wires or anything to hook up which makes things easier. And, this is a work car, not a race car so the aftermarket seats are hoary and not on my wish list.

So the ultimate question is: WTF fits? Anything tried and true?

Well, $135 bucks for a seat is in my price range, but I'd like a more factory look and feel. It's not a rocket ya know lol.

I'd still like to know what else is out there. What other cars can I rip the seats out of and preserve the feng shui or organic flow of the interior.

Although I like the idea of being able to go to the pick and pull, on second thought, one never knows who filed a turd or two on that fabric. Maybe I will go with a new rocket seat after all.

Thanks!

My 96 GS has lumbar support in the drivers seat. It should bolt right in. I think there are posts on this forum about people putting 3000gt seats in our cars.
