I had to replace my belt, water pump, and pulleys on my 420a at 120k. There wasn't much more to replace on that job other than the tensioner, but it was doing its job just fine at the time. I've found that when doing a job, if everything can be replaced related to the job at the time the job takes place, the better. The parts work together and benefit from each other. Keep your team happy and you'll be happy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If your pump goes bad does it screw up your timing and ruin your engine?

Usually when your pump goes bad your car over heats ... and if it "explodes" it will seriously damage your engine ... always good to change it every now and then
