****, I ain't got nearly as many cars as you guys, but I got a deep rooted hatred for Ford now...
1991 Ford Aerostar, used to haul video equipment and people all over the high desert-had to replace front tranny seal **** near every week. No longer have it due to brother getting it impounded.
1997 Ford Explorer, THE LARGEST V6 IN THE WORLD! Think had a 4.0 and only a 15 gallon tank. That equates to approximately -12 mpg. Yeah. That's a negative.
My current baby, 1996 Eclipse RS, also my first stick. Love driving it, but it is currently acting up, so in the process of trying to figure it out, it is sitting still. I can see the pain in it's face from not moving....

1996 Mitsubishi Lancer GLi - treated as a "truck" by my old man who spends most of his time in his farm... looks like it came from a WRC race everytime it comes back from the farm... also known in our family as the car with the auto pilot system... this car can bring you home safely even if you're drunk, stoned, or sleepy while driving it... currently being used by my uncle...
1983 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR - my older brother used to own it... then he gave it to me... then my older brother bought an '85 lancer... then he gave that to me too... but my older brother said that i should just give the '83 lancer to our youngest brother... so i did... but the thing is, our youngest brother is too lazy to apply for a driver's license... so basically, this car is just sitting around in our garage...
1999 Honda CR-V - totaled... slammed it on a 16 wheeler trailer truck delivering sacks of cement on the night of Black Saturday of 2006... thank God for seat belts and air bags! FYI, i wasn't drunk, sleepy, or anything and i was just running it at 40KPH (25MPH)... stinking trucker... good thing the car had insurance though so we got some money to buy another car...
2007 Toyota Innova G - my grandparents' service vehicle and my old man's other "truck" in his farm...
1985 Mitsubishi Lancer SL - my daily driven car...
2006 Toyota Vios - family's daily driver... my brother's pimped-up company service vehicle...
1971 Toyota Corolla Sprinter - beats the hell out of honda racers on weekends... loudest car i've ever heard... specially when my older brother revs it all the way up to 7,500RPM... best 1/4 mile for this car was a low 13 sec run... crazy car...
1979 Mitsubishi Lancer - one of my brother's friends sold this to him... excellent running condition but it needs some body work and paint job though... he bought this car for only US$200... another car just sitting in our garage...
1995 Honda Civic ESI - the newest addition in our garage... my older brother's friend is moving back to australia so he sold us this car... d16z6 turbo... faster than the '71 toyota sprinter... but i like the '71 toyota sprinter's all motor responsiveness more...

QUOTE(bullet_bike_syke69 @ Jun 23 2008, 03:08 AM) wow, thats a lot of new cars. how come you get a new car pretty much every year? unless your a dealership owner thats a bad investment? well unless of course you plan on buying one of the new US legal skylines. there aren't going to be very many shipped to the US. so they will hold there value for quite some time. I've just been fortunate....Since we are friends with the guys @ the Chevy dealership, we always got killer prices that msot people couldn't get...so when it came time to trade them in.....I never really lost much at all. I knew I forgot some.......but the other one that I can think of right now is a 1989 Ford Escort GT stick. Got that as a partial trade from my grandpa when I sold him my 1989 Blazer. I'll think of some more :)

1st car - 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS - Just got my liscence, needed a car, only had somewhere around 70k miles and I picked it up for 4k. I destroyed everything on it. Never really crashed it but people loved to hit me in it. It ran like crap by the time I got done with it. Leaked oil everywhere, blew the tranny, damaged everything you could possibly imagine. Basically if it wasn't for this car and me blowing everything on it I would have no knowledge about cars because I had to keep fixing it all the time. Sold it for 1700 to some white trash woman. I highly doubt it's still running.
2nd car - 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS - Got sick of my rs had to sell it. Didn't have much money and needed a car. Found this for 5k in the newspaper with only 32k miles. Guy leased to buy on it and got it fully loaded. Leather, power everything, great car. Slow as hell but it's soooo reliable. I never had a problem with it. Put in a cold air intake on it, runs amazing, still have it. Don't know whether to sell it or not.
3rd car - 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST - Best car ever. I love this thing more than anything. EVO 9 rims, Blitz BOV, FMIC, 18 psi on stock turbo, 2.75 inch drop, coilovers in back, tokico shocks on eibach springs in the front, Apexi n1 cat back, injen intake, fresh two tone paint job. Definitely a project car. The kid that sold it to me lives a block away from my dad's house and I saw it all the time and always wanted to know about it until one day....I saw a for sale sign on it and I jumped on it picked it up for 5500 and a set of rims I had sitting around that I was dying to get rid of. I'll be keeping this one for a long time unless I find a gsx in good condition sitting around for a cheap price (not likely).
There's definitely a pattern growing here. I think I'm just bound to get a gsx.

I've had five cars in five years since I started driving:
1. 1987 White Plymouth Caravelle - Bought for $1,200, scrapped. 2. 1994 Black Saturn SC2 - Bought for $2,000, totaled. 2.5. My Feet for 1 1/2 years haha 3. 1995 Black Eagle Talon ESi - Bought for $2673, ECU went out, sold for $1,000, didn't run. 4. 1994 Blue Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Royale - Gifted, still have. 5. 1999 Silver Mistubishi Eclipse GSX - Bought for $7,000. Dubbed "The Sexy". She's my pride and joy.
And there you have it. Five cars, five years.
