So i recently went on a road trip in which i had to drive up a huge steep mountain. My car was performing fine before this, but ever since i got back on sunday, whenever the car shifts from first to second gear, it kicks. It doesnt happen fron second to third, or third to fourth. I was told by a good friend that i could be running low on transmission fluid, but i checked the levels, and they are fine. If anyone out there would be able to help me with this problem, i would appreciate it.

Just for reference, i drive an automatic 2002 Lancer OZ Rally...4 cylinder 2.0L SOHC

Thank you in advance.

Disconnect the battery for a minute and see if that helps.
