I am debating on the K&N Typhoon, or the Injen CAI. I found a cheap place to get the K&N, but does anyone know where to get the Injen for real cheap? I'm talking about < $290

I found Injens for $270-$280, but they are for the 2.0L model. I have the 2.4, and even though I can use the 2.0 intake for my engine, I would rather have an intake that is meant for my car. And from what I see, the 2.4 model intake comes with an upgraded cone filter and a wider diameter tubing. And I can find K&N for dirt cheap, but I am leaning towards the cold air

Lube, the wider diameter tube wont do squat really, unless the butterfly valve on the engine block is as wide as the tube. Then by all means go with that if they are the same size. And the cone filter wont do much diff either. The size of filter is more than likely just going to allow it to pull the same amount of air while it gets dirty over time. (you can submerge the filter over halfway in water with the 2.0 and it wont even flinch) Im pretty sure the 2.0 tube will work fine, considering the difference from people with 2.0 tubes and 2.4 tubes on the same car doesent change. Im not sure why they even made a 2.4 liter one. LoL i think piece of mind. Correct me if im wrong, just what ive been told. And i talked to injen rep
