This actually falls under performance and interior categories but it helps with handling. Wanting to relocate my battery to the trunk. Can anybody give me any ideas on what exactly I'll need or if theres a kit out there? I doubt theres a kit out there.

theres no kit you just have buy longer cables. I dont see how a battery would affect handling. the only reson people do this is to free up space under the hood

I read in an article in Modified Mag or it was Super Street were they tested the weight distribution difference between the battery being in the engine bay or in the interior or in the trunk. It ended up being best for the battery to be in the trunk and the left rear. Of course they did this to a HachiRoku but the weight distribution way better with it in the trunk and ended up helping with the handling of the vehicle. So with that it must be true for other cars that have this modification.

You are not going to notice it on a stock vehicle.

Plus how much does your battery really weigh, 20-25lbs. Your not changing weight distribution much, if any, with 20-25lbs. Probably better to lose 20 lbs of body weight.
Weight Distribution (% f/r) MT = 60/40 CVT = 61/39
So you might, if your lucky, get 59/41 mt and 60/40 cvt.

Hardly worth it.
