Hey,
Can somebody please explain what they mean by this phrase?
"-Jump DLC terminal 1 and ground. (Note: Terminal 1 may also be grounded using diagnostic equipment connected to the DLC.)"
and how can I do it? Thanks.

Hi;
I just did the programing on my 2003 Galant and your instructions worked except the part (ensure ignition switch is off), my ignition switch had to be "on". I programmed 2 remotes and they both work great. Thanks for the instructions.

Ground is on pin 4 so you can connect pin 1 and 4 or somewhere on chassis Long side _____________________ Pin 1 -> \ | | | | | | | | / <- Pin 8 Pin 9 -> \ | | | | | | | | / <- Pin 16 ----------------- Short side

Same for me. Make sure ignition is "ON". Worked like a charm. :banana: I wasted 15 minutes trying to make it work with ignition off. Thanks for your posting.
By the way everyone. A paper clip will work for connecting pins 1 and 4.
Peace!
