Hi all,

i'm new, well actually i've been around for a while , Anyway now i need help, i am changing a starter motor and have just received the replacement, the old & the new appear identical apart from the number of splines on the end, the old has 13 & the new has 10, The model number is correct for the car (an imported Pajero Exceed 2.5TD Automatic ) however i can find no explanation for the difference, and need to know whether it will work.

Can anyone help ?.

Best way to prove is to try. cheers! It will work perfectly as long as you ordered the complete specs. Nothing is a waste of time when you'll learn something from it.
