Right... if you leave a car standing the fule in the tank goes off, so you need to get a pipe and sifen it all out then put some fresh in.
You need to make sure the battery has a FULL charge, the starter needs about 50 cranking amps to start the engine but the other electrics need very little.
sitting outside moisture will have gotten in and arround the clutch, I've had the clutch rust to the flywheel before now and other moisture might have gotten in other places yo so make sure the engine will turn freely:
To do this jack the car up and take the front off side (drivers side) wheel off, you should now be able to see inside the wheel artch and the axsiluary belt pully bolted onto the crank shaft, in the middle of this pully is a square socket (if i remember correctly) designed to take a standard 1/2" ratchet, stick a ratchet in there and see if it turns, if it doenst get a bigger ratchet with a scafold pole on the end and put more power behind it until something breaks! it's probably not going to be the engine that brakes first as they're really strong. Try this in gear and out of gear.
If you cant get the engine turning with it out of gear it might be siezed and not worth fixing (IMG:

You said in your other post that the clutch 'went' i had this on mine and it was jsut the fluid level going to low, check for mayonaysing or missing fluid in the clutch resovoir, this is seperate to the breake fluid unlike most cars i've seen. It's located at the back of the engine bay, next to the break fluid (IIRC).
check all the fuses incase the fule pump one has gone and then keep kranking the engine, if it still goesn't go, charge the battery up again or get a jump start becasue you'll need to flush the clean fuel through into the high pressuer fuel pump in the engine bay and then into the engine.
also... take the coil packs off the spark plugs, take the spark plugs out and dry them off, they wont spark if they're damp.
Have you got an alarm fitted to the car? if so you might need to reset the engine imobiliser or something.
And finally, check you've not had rat's nibbling the electrics!!
That's all i can think to check really, this is all from experiance of having cars sitting round for extended periods of time. Also make sure you put the air filter back in (IMG:
