what sup guys, my car idle high, it idle at 1500 rpm all the time, no vac leak thought, it was before, but i fixed it, i used the smoke machine and found a large vac leak at the lower left side of the intake manifold, so i took it out and found 1/2 of the gasket was gone at the left port, so i got a new gasket and installed it, no more leak now, the TV cable is loose.

TV Cable?

If your idle is high but the car is running fine, then odds are you just need to adjust your idle via the two screws on top of the TB.

TV cable, i meant throttle cable, it runs decent, it will break front tires loose in 3rd at 7psi stock turbo, and the 225 i have in it is almost new, i wish this 1 is an AWD like my R/T. i try adjusting the screw on the throttle body, it bring the idle down, but then it loose the power

It's not that it's loosing power, it's that you are reaching that power quicker with the higher idle, but it also shortens your RPM bands.

no wonder why i didn't have too much of turbo lag, like having a 1,500 stall converter in an auto

right under the TB? The IM doesnt extand past the TB. The TB etends past the manifold. Don't see how there could be fittings on the IM "under the TB". Please explain. Take pics if you can.

If your PCV valve is bad, your car shouldn't even be able to hold idle, let alone idle high.

i found the problem, it was the AIC motor, i took it out, turn the key on, i hear it make some sound, and the "pin" is trying to move, but it didn't, (i assumed that it would move if i turn the key on) it was stuck inward position, i open it out and cleaned it with MAP sensor cleaner, put it back in, (with the pin all the way in) start it up, now idle @3,000RPM, oh no it is worse than before, so it took it back out, unscrew the pin all the way out, put it back in, start it up, it idle @1,000 RPM now, tried it a few times now, seem to be working good, i know it's only a temp fix, i don't know if anything hurting the engine at all,i'll order a new one later on. thanx guy for the help

i found an AIC, or ISC motor at the local junkyard, they one wants $100 for it, i was like Air Idle Control MOTOR, not MOTOR as in Engine, and he said just the AIC motor, not even come with the manifold, no refund, return or warranty if it working at all, so i didn't buy it, the guy don't even know if it work or not, i was like i'm not buying it for $100. that's crazy man, the thing is almost 20 yrs old man, shouln'd even call them JUNKYARD man, i should call it ripoff yard, what are they new ? a little over $100 right ? since i work at a shop, i can get some discount also if i'm going to buy a new one. So i bought one of Ebay, yeah i know alot of guys don't like Ebay stuff, but i bought one of a 99 which is a black one, they said it should be better then the early gold color one right ? with the coupon and shipping fee, i paid $40 for it, i let you know how it working out for me k.

I think the IACs are different between the 1g and 2g, so you might have to do some wiring.

I paid less than 80 bucks from O'Reilly's. So, 100 for a new one is quite the rip-off

Well... you can buy them brand new online for like 140... I think 4g63attack has the link for that, at least he did back in the day... I haven't been around in a bit...

And you really didn't need to spend any money on it. I have found that just pullling the throttle body off and cleaning them really well with throttle body cleaner usually fixes the little bugger. If it doesn't fix it, then you pull it off and get a piece of gasket material and make a new gasket with no holes in it, effectively blocking it off, then screw it back on to hold the gasket in place. Then, you just adjust the idle old school with the screw on the butterfly of the throttle body.

Hell, if you want to get all fancy, there are companies that make IAC block-off kits that just come with a new gasket and metal plate to block it off. You can also make one if you are handy with metal.

Not saying it's the best alternative, but it's WAY cheaper, and can be better in the long run if you are planning on running upgraded cams and you need to raise the idle with some ease.
