Has anyone tuned the 2.0 Di-D Lancer - 2 litre PD turbo diesel engine sourced from VAG (I assume this is a European only model)?

I'm thinking of remap or tuning box options are the way to go?

Anyone done anything with one of these yet?

thanks!!!

i believe you are the first person with european lancer on this forum. Unfortunately, someone thinks Americans dont deserve good diesel cars here so we dont have those models available. would be sweet if they brought them over though, along with Mitsu Colt Ralliart.

p.s. or Evo X FQ-400 - wooooof.

He is not the first EU Lancer, but he is maybe the first with a diesel. The 2.0 diesel on this lancer is a VW TDI engine, 103kw, 140ps, 310nm of torque. It is a very "tuning-friendly" car because it has a turbo. Just a chip-tune will give you an extra 30ps and make it even faster that 2.4L American spec because of the enormous amount of torque which will approach 400nm in this case at just 1600rpm and also your 170ps are available at 4000rpm. So go for a piggyback ECU for this engine, in Europe they sell them for about 400euro.
