My Car Has Been Acting Up At WOT every since it fell off those small ramps you use to gain access under your car.
it ran fine/perfect before that happened. The thing is after i came off the ramps i finished with my tune up and took the car around the block and it was sputtering and sounded like a go kart at any rpm. so i came back popped the hood and came to find one of the plug wires came off the distributor popped it back on and took another run , and noticed the car ran good as long as i didnt go WOT . When im in 2nd ill floor & get throw into my steeringwheel it will sputter/decelerate & the engine will sound like WAAAAAAAA!!!! When Its Decelerating and sometimes backfire. in say 4th ill go Wot and it will just sputter and not accelerate .. im stumped
WHAT IV DONE SO FAR

2X BRAND NEW PLUG WIRES AND PLUGS (gapping them what it says under hood , gapped them at the lowest and it seemed to help for a lil , but not much)
CAP AND ROTOR
MAF sensor from same car at junkyard / CLEANED OUT WITH MAF SPRAY

+ i have the records and receipts from the guy who sold me the car and he
replaced the whole Distributor about 2 years ago , Timing Belt 4 years ago , & Fuel filter a couple of months within selling me the car
looking at the all the receipts he took real good care of the car .

So im thinking its a Ignition problem , the shop was trying to tell my my vavles were bad and i thought that was BS ,
Im thinking the ignition timing is off or cam timing

HELP ME PLZ

It will be an ignition /spark problem
you normally replace all the plug leads plugs and coil wire

in the dark pop the bonnet and run the engine
if you see arcing or sparkles that will be the problem

Like in the other post about this that yuve posted , . Did yu check yur fuel pressure? Also , did yu check if the exhaust down pipe is bent, constricting flow of exhaust air. There were many things we asked in that psot , i do not believe yu answered or checked or not. Not to sure . Seemingly a symptom yur gettin is that there is lack of fuel ,lots of air is going in , too much for the amount of fuel being delivered via the injectors. So the car dramatically looses power, can be MAF , lack of fuel pressure.

A restricted exhaust system can cause this also , as in the exhaust down pipe or any other section bent due to accident ect and causing a exhaust flow restriction. SO high volumes of air cannot escape and chokes the engine.

how do i locate the coil wire , is it behind the rotor or somthin .
and i dont think its arching , ive had the hood open at night and it seems normalbut ill double check

& DUDE WITH THE VR4 , to check my fuel pressure dont i havta plug a gauge in a inline port next to the FPR and run it out the hood and tape it to the wind shield ... also i dont think the ramps got anywhere close to the exhaust system , last time i went to a shop (I) & the mechanics inspected the fuel lines coming out the engine bay to see if there were any bends or kinks looked normal , and i looked at the exhaust around the DP and it seemed regular too .
i kinda thought maybe it shook one of the o2 sensors outta wack , but dosent the ECU Ignore AT WOT?

did yu check or juss replace the fuel filter. it may be clogged up. The coil wire is the 2 wire square plug in on the frunt of the distributor facing the frunt of the car. The top wiring harness for the power transistor , and TDC-cam sensor etc. Seems like yur dealing with restricted or low fuel pressure. have yu ever serviced the fuel filter before?

that dun mean anyhthing. I personally have went on a trip with my cousin to Groong Thep. His brother had serviced his car not that long before the trip. He puts 97 octane petrol his 98 Galant GSR always , well on the trip we stopped and pumped petrol at a station and soon after like an hour of driving he started getting the same issues yu are having , and we were on a hilly road. Long rolling hills and he was loosing power and when he'd try to accelerate more , he'd loose power . As for when driving regularly and not accelerating more while going up the hill it would intermittenly miss and yu can feel it loosing power.

We stopped at anotehr station and i looked things over and went directly for the filter i knew it was clogged so i removed the top line and checked for fuel pressure and it was low. There was a parts place near by so i got a filter and changed the plugs which looked bad frum the bad petrol. made it to the nest area which had a station which had a fuel pump to fit the car and changed it. Im sure his filter was way worse than yurs , which is why i had to change the pump , and also we were traveling which the clogged filter put the pump under a large strain for a while.
