I was about to order a Magnaflow exhaust today and at the last minute i realized that cutting the pipe sounds like something the dealership might frown on. I was just wondering if any of you had any trouble with this before.

The car is only 2 months old and i'd hate to ruin the warranty for something silly like this. Would it be wiser to just go with an axle-back since its just bolt on?

Will only void your warranty on the exhaust if and only if the dealership can prove that it was the exhaust that caused whatever problems you may experience.

Regards.

just remember that picky dealerships will bother you abt it even if they cant prove it did damage just to give you a hard time. most dealerships are cool about it but you will find that lemon in the bunch from time to time. just cant help that .... warranty issues aside... you might want to go direct bolt on if you plan on selling the car in the future. i know you just got it but its good to know what your intentions are up front because dealers tend to pay more for stock cars over mod. cars. so if you plan on selling it make sure everything you do is easily reversable. if thats not an issue for you then cut away
