Hey guys I have a 97 Eclipse RS and currently rebuilding the engine I had question for you guys. I want to know if its possible to put power windows and power locks on the RS model and if it is what's requiered to do so Well thanks for your time and knowlege guys

Its possible my 99 RS has power windows and door locks but I aint sure what youll need though mine came that way from the factory.

it really wouldnt be worth all the trouble...

door locks..u need the actuators at each lock then u need the controls.. which on a mitsu is the etacs (computer)

power windows.. u need the regulators and motors etacs (again)

and also the switches for each..


altho i have seen aftermarket kits but have not tried any myself

so not even if you swap the doors with some that have all the power options (sorry if its a stupid question but Im not really familiar with the Eclipse)

its not just the doors...
the etacs computer,switches and maybe some wiring...

it would be easier to buy a car with the options..

well thanks guys I guess im stuck with manual windows what I dont get is why have a power sunroof and not power windows? but like i said im stuck

Because if you didnt have a power sun roof you would only have one that pops up instead of opens all the way. Look at the bright side.....a little less weight
