Hi, My problem is car has been running fine lately but the other day my battery drained itself and it wasn't completely dead so I could still start the car. Had battery recharged and car started like normal again.

Then today I drove over to my friends house to give her a ride to work then when we got back to start up the car it just kept turning over and not firing up then like 30 seconds later it fired up no problem drove it to her work then home about 10 miles... Then I went to leave to autozone for the other car and my car kept turning over and over and over and wouldn't fire up kept doing that for a couple mins then came in the house and went back out and it kept turning over again and fired up and I turned it off and it fired up again and did that one more time...

Its really irritating to have to wait when the car wants to work to drive it. I was wondering if anyone knows why this would happen?

New spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel fiters, fuel pump, distributor, air filter, oil change.....

Thanks for your help!! I really appreciate it

Check your alternator.

Edit: Also could be your FPR, Dirty TB, TPS, ISC, IAC Valve, and many other things.

do you have alot of corrosion around your battery terminals? this can really stop the flow of amps. if so, check to see if it has spread into the wires. if so they really need replaced.

Have you try restarting it with you foot on the accelerator ? My Starion did that before, and what i found was the leaky injector, so after driving it for a while, stop the car for a few minutes and restart it again, it would just crank for along time, but if i have my foot on the accelerator, i can start the car. Try it and let me know

Alright thanks a lot guys... I had both battery and alternator checked and there was bad corrosion on my battery terminals so I bought new connections and cleaned the terminals.

My IAC Valve is bad so maybe that's it... I hopefully will replace it soon there so expensive..
