How is it going Guys? I've posted in other forums to see if I get some kind of response but have failed in receiving any type of response from other 9G owners.
I am new to the mitsu-forums, and I noticed that several of the guys that post here are really interested in seeing aftermarket support for the 9G, as do I.

The reason for my posting is to get an idea of who is actually interested in seeing performance products to be designed for the galant. I spoke to Rob Tallini, owner of Road///Race Motorsports, about 3 days ago and was asking about any plans for the galant, he told me that if there is a strong demand for it, then most definately. And in the world of Mitsubishi, Road Race is one of the top aftermarket engineers on the Mitsu tuning world, They are also responsible in helping to set up the Galant Ralliart as well, so they're technology and engineering skills are great with awsome drivability and race proven performance. But I'm not here to talk about there accomplishments, I'm here because I want them to develop Products for our vehicles. I am looking for anything; intakes, exhausts, headers, suspension components, forced induction, drivetrain components, etc.

I would like to know how many people are interested and if you are, please post in this forum.

Thanks and have a great day... :57:

Hi I am very interested in Mitsubishi Galant aftermarket parts. I have owned my Galant for a year and a half and I cannot find any body kits or lowering springs especially coil overs for the Galant for 2004 and beyond.
Thanks
Tony

what about us 7G owners? Need aftermarket parts also?
Their is like only one type of body kit available and thats about it? Unless you pay thousands and thousands for someone to build you one?
But I mean COME ON! haha! Any ideas?

DEFFINETLY INTERESTED IN PARTS FOR THE GALANT WHOEVER STARTS MAKING THEM FIRST WILL DEFF BE A HIT AND MAKIN SUM $$..

I THINK THE WHOLE REASON IS THAT ITS BEING OFFERED MORE AS A FAMILY CAR AND NOT AIMED TOWARDS TEENAGERS OR PEOPLE LOOKING TO SUPE THERE CARS UP...HOPEFULLY WE CAN EXPECT SOMETHING SOON.

I've recently purchased another Galant, this time its the 07, galant ralliart. awesome car but I believe it has alot more potential. If some one would make the performance parts I need they would have my business and I'm sure anyone else's with a galant ralliart. my old galant was an 03, 4 cyl. some parts were tough to come by but any thing past 04 seems to not exist. there's a huge market out there for someone to make alot of money.

I recently bought a 07 ralliart galant and am very interested in aftermarket parts...count me in. One thing to consider though is since the Ralliart has the same engine as the eclipse gt, the aftermarket parts for the eclipse should be able to fit on the galant ralliart. Any thoughts?

I am diff. looking for aftermarket parts, have been looking since November, but unfotunatly I have the 07 galant ralliart, and the only thing I can find is the K&N air filter, and that even is for the 3.8 from the eclipse. I am looking at more forced induction and items that give you more HP rather than just a few ponies bolt on stuff, but who knows I might be interested in all the stuff if someone was to make it.

why is this pinned? it's practicaly a useless thread, where are the links to RRE, or RRM, or RIPP, or WORKS, or RPW?? anyone that looks at this thread - search those abreviations and you'll find performance parts that will fit the 9g. here's a hint, the ralliart lancer (not 2008+) has the same engine as the 9g I4, the 4g69. and the 4g eclipse has the same engine as well...so if you find something for either of those cars, engine wise...ask the shop if it will fit your car...or head over to club9g.com and look around and ask a question or two...heck check out thegalantcenter.com and look in the 9g section.

::sigh:: basically this thread shouldn't be pinned if it isn't useful.

Alright so here is my dilemma,

I have done some research on the 3.8L V6 in my 07 Galant Ralliart. There is nothing out there for Performance grade aftermarket products. Anything I find for the Eclipse GT won’t fit my car (ACCORDING TO MY DEALERSHIP) Can anyone confirm this? I know that AEM makes a nice Short Ram Air Intake for the Eclipse (3.8L) but both the seller and the Dealership said it won’t fit even after I explained that I looked at the install guide and see NO deviation from my engine.

On the Plus side I just had a Stainless steel polished MAGNA FLOW exhaust put in. It sounds and looks great. Less back pressure and allows the engine to breath better. I also replaced both the headlights and fog lights with full HID conversion kits (6000K).

The high displacement of the Galant V6 (3.8) and the DOHC design suggests a lot more potential than 230 horsepower. In my case, I would be contented with mods to bring it to around 270 horses, in order to keep the stock transmission and avoid extreme torque steer. I just bought the car, but it has already become obvious that there's a serious lack of aftermarket parts for it.

What up 9G's?

I'm looking to replace my stock black grille with a billet or some type of chrome grille. I might even be looking for a ralli art grille.

Anybody know where I can find the wheels that go on the ralli art Galant? I have an ES and I want factory wheels, but don't want to pay factory prices.
