was running my eclipse in stop and go traffic on Madison ave with a evo next to me who ripping through the gears between lights , that car really burned oil between gears . So I caught the guy at one light and asked him how many miles on it ? 14,0000,I asked him does he change the oil? every 3000 at jiffy lube and he sped off I hope jiffy lube has mobil 1 or that would explain it ,and who the fuC* would let jiffy lube change your oil.

the jiffy lube that i used to take my car to had mobil one. but it was like a $60 oil change.

i started changing my own oil when i took it there one time. one of the guys who was doing the work popped my hood, look at my CAI, and I swear to you, he said, "Is that a turbo?". and he was dead serious. oh yeah, he had a riced out civic.

needless to say, that was the last time i took it there.

Sorry to assume Jiffy Lube doesn't carry Mobil 1.

Needless to say, I wouldn't let those monkeys work on my car anyways.

It takes a half hour to change oil. Why wouldn't someone do it themselves.

i didn't have access to any tools or a jack(other than the crappy stock one). but after that experience, i started using a friends shop to do it.
