My 2003 eclipse gts has started to squeel like a pig when I start it. The noise comes from the engine bay and sounds it seems like a belt is causing it. It lasted for a second or two at first, but lately it has lasted longer for about 10 seconds and just yesterday It started to squeel when i was actully driving. It comes in and out and pretty much when the car is cold then goes away after like 10 min of driving.

Any ideas as to whats going on??

soulds like your belts is out of adjustment or needs to be replaced

also there is a belt dressing spray the auto store sell, its used when an oil leak is causing the belt to slip

Piece of cake, just slightly tight up a serpentine belt and you are all set. To do this just loose the top bolt on the alternator's bracket and turn 3-5 turns the tension bolt right next one down, then tighten up alternator's bracket bolt again.
