Does anybody know a good way to take them off without messing up the paint?

WD-40 (to disolve the glue) - a *new* razor blade (in a good razor blade holder) - patience. You have to be careful but it can be done without nicking the paint... be careful not to turn the razor blade over as it will bend slightly away from the surface... if you turn it over it will dig in.

Has to be a *new* never before used razor blade, otherwise the blade may be damaged in a way that can damage your paint.

Be sure to wash of the WD-40 as soon as you're done. Also, depending on how long the pinstripes were on you may notice color differences between the paint that was covered versus that which wasn't due to fading, etc. caused by the sun.

You may need to buff the paint after removing the pinstripes.

Be very patient... and careful while you're doing it.

Thanks I will try that. The car is a 2002 and I noticed that some of the pin stripe was coming off already so I thought that i might as well finish the job. haha
