It was this past wednesday and it was raining/snowing here in TX (McKinney) and it was around 9:00PM i was driving with my friend and the roads were icy and i was just fooling around doing donuts and other stuff... i had fun until i hit a curb.... and a preaty big piece of my rim fell off... the outside of the rim.... and i stop and put on the spare tire and went over to my frinds house and a piece of a the part that broke of was stuck in my tire and i take it out and the tire is fine but the rim is messed up... so i call Mitsubishi Dealer and i ask them for a price of a new rim and they tell me $290.... so i go in the Discount Tire and i ask them and they find a used one for $150 so i buy that one.... and then i go to do my alignment and they tell me that my strut is out of place... so i gotta buy that part too now... and it costs around $150 + 40 labor + 25 alignment test.... so yeah a little fun costed me around $350.. just a little info i thought i would share with you guys..... oh yeah and i was goin around 25/30mph when i hit the curb... and they told me i am going like this down the road \ |
